Real estate agents come from many different backgrounds, and people often ask how I found my way here.
I grew up in Western Pennsylvania, where Friday night lights and marching band were a big deal. Being part of a superior-rated band with an inspiring instructor shaped my love of teamwork and teaching and led me to study music education at Messiah College.
After graduating, I became a band director. While I enjoyed teaching, I realized I was looking for a career that allowed me to focus more fully on people, problem-solving, and one-on-one guidance. I wanted work where education and relationships were central, and where I could truly invest in helping others reach their goals.
The idea of real estate started as a joke but quickly became very real. A simple moment sparked it, passing a Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices sign and thinking, Why not? The more I explored the profession, the clearer it became that real estate was the right fit: community-focused, relationship-driven, and rooted in education.
Today, I help clients navigate one of the biggest decisions of their lives with clarity, strategy, and confidence. I enjoy the problem-solving that goes into each transaction and take pride in guiding my clients through the process with transparency and care.
I believe the best results come from truly understanding the people I work with. One of my clients was a personal trainer, and I even attended her group workout class so I could better understand her lifestyle, schedule, and goals. That level of insight allows me to advocate more effectively for my clients and tailor each experience to what matters most to them.
When I’m not helping clients buy or sell a home, you’ll usually find me hiking, cycling, or spending time with my two rescue pups who keep life lively and grounded.
There’s so much to love about the central PA community and the surrounding areas. I’d love the opportunity to connect and help you find a place to call home here, too.
Education-first approach. With a background in teaching, I focus on explaining every step of the buying or selling process so you feel informed and confident.
Personal, not transactional. I take the time to understand how my clients live, work, and spend their time so I can advocate for what truly matters to them.
Thoughtful problem-solving. Real estate transactions are complex. I stay calm, organized, and proactive to keep things moving smoothly.
Clear, consistent communication. You’ll always know what’s happening, what comes next, and where things stand.
Local knowledge of Central PA real estate. I’m passionate about this community and enjoy helping clients find the right fit, not just a house.
